VOC Health is a bio-technology company based in Miami Beach, Florida. Founded in February of 2020, the company has developed a NanoBiosensor system designed to detect early-stage cancers and other diseases via the volatile organic compounds (VOCs) found in blood, urine, and sweat. Using VOCs as biomarkers helps detect diseases at the earliest possible stage – to increase survivability and lower healthcare costs.
The NanoBiosensor has accurately differentiated ovarian, pancreatic, and prostate cancer in blood, as well as COVID-19 in sweat.
VOC Health currently has one device in clinical trials. Dubbed The Wave, it is designed to detect COVID-19 from the palm of your hand, without any contact, in seconds. Another prototype utilizes the sensor to detect early-stage disease in blood and urine.
VOC Health’s sensor can also be applied to other verticals outside of healthcare and creates a strong pipeline of innovative devices for the company.
